I am an engineer and a data scientist based in Boulder, CO. During my B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering and my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, I learned that I love logic and learning about how things work. While working for two years as an engineer, I grew curious about the tech industry and how to utilize the power of data and efficient techniques to gain insights, to solve problems, and to make informed decisions. I therefore decided to take on the challenge to complete the General Assembly Data Science Immersive program, and I graduated the program during May 2019.

I have gained and developed skills which, combined with my engineering background and passion to learn and to find new applications of data science, enable me to solve difficult real-world problems and to help people and organizations move forward. I am personable and empathetic and not only bring skills to teams but also bring the ability to bridge differences and to improve and encourage communication. I aim to improve people’s lives through working in industries such as the medical field, the sustainable energy field, or other industries, and I aim to find solutions to problems while empowered by data.
